The Temperature Monitor and Voltage Regulator – TMV is a device that combines control and thermal protection and the main functionalities of a voltage regulating relay.

Based on the readings of insulating oil temperature and one or more transformer load currents, TMV performs temperature calculations (thermal image) of one or more windings and acts on equipment temperature management (functions 26 and 49).

In addition, during its operation, TMV aims to conserve load voltage quality, keeping it within a user programmable range.
